8/17 - Tuesday

Mom is doing really well. Back is still bothering her most of the time.

I don't if we ever really said what mom has been diagnosed with - gastroparesis. Basically, when she had the car accident her gastric symptom received a traumatic shock and was stunned - both stomach and small intestine (bowel). This could possibly take months, years, or maybe never to recover from. Let's hope for months.

She is taking medication to help with the motility of her gastric system.

  1. Hi! Hooray for Faye for her courage to fight through this. Hooray for everyone else for their support! My prayer will be that each day is better than the one before.....for everyone! Keep improving. Glad there was a diagnosis and some fixing....FINALLY! Know we love ya and when company sounds good we're just a phone call away. 822-7985 784-4208. Aunt Florence was so happy to hear Aunt Faye came home. She said, "Oh, that's a relief and will be so much better for John...this has been hard on him." Spoken as a true loving sister!!!!!! Well, have an uplifting day...set your goals small and one bit at a time....then they're more obtainable. Luv, Jeanie P.S. What is Patti's new job?
